The Nayak Participation, Civic Feedback & Recognition Process
My Country. My Responsibility. The Nayak is a voluntary initiative for civic awareness, public service and responsible participation.
1How to Participate
Step 1: Register for Nomination
Visit TheNayak.in and submit your nomination to participate from your area.
Provide true and complete personal details, your connection with the area and your interest in voluntary public service. By registering, you agree to follow the platform’s Terms of Use, Code of Conduct and verification process.
Step 2: Receive User ID and Complete Verification
After initial registration, receive your User ID and complete the required KYC and verification process.
Upload a short YouTube video message of up to two minutes. In the video, explain:
- A genuine public-service issue or community need in your area;
- Your understanding of that issue; and
- How you wish to contribute responsibly through civic awareness, dialogue or voluntary public-service action.
Step 3: Invite Citizens for Civic Feedback
After your profile is published, citizens from your area may visit the Support Participants page to provide responsible and non-binding civic feedback.
Responsible feedback: Citizens are requested to share feedback respectfully and truthfully. Abuse, hate speech, fake support, paid support, misleading promotion or impersonation is not permitted.
2Civic Feedback Areas
A citizen may share feedback on the following three areas. Each feedback area may be rated from 1 to 10 points.
1. Profile Completeness and Area Connection
Does the participant provide a clear profile and demonstrate a genuine connection with the area?
2. Clarity of the YouTube Message
Does the participant explain the public-service message clearly, respectfully and responsibly?
3. Understanding of Local Issues and Civic Action Plan
Does the participant show a practical understanding of area issues and suggest lawful, constructive and community-oriented action?
Important: Civic feedback is only one input in the recognition process. It is not a vote, election result or public mandate.
3Recognition Process
The Nayak platform will review eligible participants on the basis of:
- Completion of registration, KYC and verification;
- Accuracy and completeness of information;
- Compliance with the Code of Conduct;
- Genuine connection with the stated area;
- Quality of the public-service message and civic action plan;
- Responsible participation and platform activity; and
- Non-binding civic feedback received from citizens.
No participant will be recognised solely because of the highest public feedback score or support count.
Following the review process, an eligible participant may be recognised as:
The Nayak — Area Responsibility Achiever (ARA)
This is a voluntary recognition for responsible civic participation and public-service commitment. It does not create any political, statutory, governmental, electoral or legal authority.

The Nayak is not an election, voting process, political-party activity, government appointment, MP/MLA selection process or government institution.
It is a voluntary initiative for civic awareness, public service and responsible participation.
The Nayak participants may listen to citizens, encourage community action and facilitate lawful communication of area needs to appropriate authorities wherever necessary.
They cannot promise government action, claim official authority or represent any government department.
