4Profile की कौन-सी जानकारी सार्वजनिक हो सकती है
यदि participant स्पष्ट consent देता है, तो निम्न जानकारी public profile पर दिखाई जा सकती है:
- नाम और profile photo
- राज्य, जिला और constituency connection
- शिक्षा, profession और social-work summary
- vision statement, local issues और solutions
- vision video
- participant की self-declaration
- platform द्वारा निर्धारित अन्य profile details
Mobile number, email address, OTP records, ID details और internal verification notes सार्वजनिक नहीं किए जाएँगे, जब तक कानून या participant की अलग स्पष्ट अनुमति आवश्यक न करे।
5Consent / सहमति
Profile submit करते समय participant को अलग और स्पष्ट consent देना होगा कि उसका profile, photo, video और submitted public information THE NAYAK पर प्रकाशित की जा सकती है।
Participant अपनी consent वापस ले सकता/सकती है और profile removal का अनुरोध कर सकता/सकती है। Consent withdrawal के बाद profile को उचित समय में public view से हटाया जाएगा, लेकिन कुछ records कानूनी आवश्यकता, dispute resolution, fraud prevention या audit purpose के लिए सीमित अवधि तक सुरक्षित रखे जा सकते हैं।
6Public Feedback की गोपनीयता
Public feedback का उद्देश्य केवल non-binding civic feedback प्रदान करना है। Feedback देने वाले व्यक्ति की personal identity सामान्यतः candidate profile पर प्रकाशित नहीं की जाएगी।
THE NAYAK OTP verification, duplicate-response checks, anti-bot controls और misuse prevention के लिए technical information का उपयोग कर सकता है। कोई user public feedback को कानूनी vote, election result या mandate के रूप में प्रस्तुत नहीं कर सकता।
7डेटा साझा करना
हम personal data को बेचते, किराये पर नहीं देते या अनधिकृत commercial purpose के लिए साझा नहीं करते।

9Data Retention और Deletion
हम personal data को केवल उतनी अवधि तक रखेंगे, जितनी campaign process, stated purpose, grievance handling, security, audit या लागू कानून के लिए आवश्यक हो।
सामान्य सिद्धांत:
- public profile data profile active रहने तक, या consent withdrawal/removal request तक रखा जा सकता है।
- profile removal के बाद public display हटाया जाएगा।
- internal verification, consent और grievance records को सीमित अवधि तक सुरक्षित रखा जा सकता है।
- OTP, security और technical logs को security तथा fraud prevention की आवश्यकता तक रखा जा सकता है।
- आवश्यकता समाप्त होने पर data को delete, anonymise या securely dispose किया जाएगा।
10आपके अधिकार
लागू कानून और platform policy के अधीन, आप:
- अपने personal data के उपयोग के बारे में जानकारी मांग सकते हैं।
- गलत या अधूरी जानकारी को correct कराने का अनुरोध कर सकते हैं।

11Children / बच्चों की जानकारी
THE NAYAK पर leadership profile submission मुख्यतः adults के लिए है। 18 वर्ष से कम आयु के व्यक्ति की profile या personal data केवल parent/guardian की सत्यापित consent और लागू कानूनों के अनुसार ही process की जाएगी।
12Cookies और Analytics

3Why We Collect Personal Data

4Information That May Be Public
With a participant’s clear consent, the following may be displayed on a public profile:
- Name and profile photo
- State, district, and constituency connection
- Education, profession, and social-work summary
- Vision statement, local issues, and solutions
- Vision video
- Participant’s self-declaration
- Other profile details specified by the platform
Mobile numbers, email addresses, OTP records, identity details, and internal verification notes will not be publicly displayed, unless required by law or separately authorised by the participant.
5Consent
When submitting a profile, a participant must provide separate and clear consent for their profile, photograph, video, and submitted public information to be published on THE NAYAK.
A participant may withdraw consent and request profile removal. After consent is withdrawn, the profile will be removed from public view within a reasonable period. Certain records may be retained for a limited period where necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or audit purposes.
6Privacy of Public Feedback
Public feedback is intended only as non-binding civic feedback. The personal identity of a person providing feedback will generally not be displayed on a candidate or participant profile.
THE NAYAK may use technical information for OTP verification, duplicate-response checks, anti-bot controls, and prevention of misuse. No user may present public feedback as a legal vote, election result, or mandate.
7Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data for unauthorised commercial purposes.
Personal data may be shared only where necessary with:
- Authorised THE NAYAK project, verification, grievance, or technology teams
- Website hosting, OTP, cloud, security, or technical service providers
